No Till on the agenda


Green Dale representatives took part in the regional meeting on the 24th of October. It was held by Stanislav Aleinik Deputy Governor of the region - Head of the Department of Agroindustrial Complex and Reproduction of the Environment of the Region. It was held in the meeting room of the Academic Council of Belgorod State Agrarian University. Named after V. Gorin.


1The issues of no-till technology were discussed within the framework of the agenda.


A. Turjansky the rector of agrarian university, heads and the main experts of the plant-growing companies - structural divisions of agroholdings of region, experts of department, employees of university have taken part in action.


Y. Zavgorodny head of the department of technological processes in plant growing, A. Osychenko chief specialist in the biology of agriculture and soil laboratories, K. Legkikh economist of the planning and economic department, T. Babko director of the Green Dale - Agro LLC represented Green Dale delegation.


Stanislav Aleinik noted that over the six years of the biologization program, the Belgorod agrarians not only successfully expanded the area of application of the technology from 80 thousand hectares in 2012 to 292.5 thousand hectares in 2017. “We convinced the effectiveness of technology in growing a wide range of crops, including sugar beet”.


During the discussion, participants discussed the shortcomings and advantages of introducing no-till into everyday practice.


To overcome the negative factors, it was decided to lay a number of long-term experiments on the basis of several regional agricultural companies.


Green Dale’s field was chosen as an experimental site.
